Having spent the last hour finishing off the feature I started last night, I am now late for my Saturday job.

I've been Involved in athletics for more than 46 years but my aged legs no longer permit me to run around Douglas early in the morning as I did from 2008. Previously a race walker, marathon runner and athletics official.
